Is Your House of Worship Prepared?
Despite their best efforts, a major disaster will completely outstrip the capacity of government and public safety to respond. Less than 1% of the population is made up of first responders, who must care for the most critical life-safety needs.
Houses of Worship need an Emergency Plan just like individuals and families.
Be Ready to Step up to the Plate in Times of Need!
Join us on June 1 for an introductory training:
- Learn about the response system and the services that major disaster leaders like the County Office of Emergency Services, American Red Cross, Salvation Army and FEMA provide
- Get an overview of developing an Emergency Plan for your faith center
Taught by the County Office of Emergency Services.
FREE. 8:30 am to 11:30 am on Thursday, June 1, at the Vista United Methodist Church, 490 S. Melrose Dr., Vista, CA, 92081. Continental breakfast provided.
To register or for more information, contact John at email@example.com or 858-952-9707.
